If you purchased your domain from Wix, you can connect it to an external site by pointing to your site host's DNS records.
Before you begin:Contact your site host and ask for the relevant DNS records (e.g., A record, CNAME record) that the domain should point to.

Make sure to let your new site host know you need to point your domain to them withoutchanging name servers as this is not possible with a Wix domain. If you're required to change the name servers, you'll need to transfer your domain away from Wix to connect it.

To connect your domain to an external site:

  1. Go to My Domains in your Wix account.
Note: If you have more than one domain in your account, select the relevant domain.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click Edit DNS.
  4. Delete or update your CNAME records
