cPanel: How to Password Protect a Directory

This article provides you with information on hot to password protect directories in cPanel

Step 1- Login to cPanel

Step 2 - Click on Directory Privacy under the files section

Step 3- Click Edit on the directory that you want to protect

Step 4 - Click Password Protect this Directory and click Save

Step 5 - Set username and password for this directory and click Save
