This article provides you with step by step instructions to create a cpmove file for migration e.g moving from a reseller cPanel account to an individual cPanel account within our environment.




Step 1- Login to cPanel

  • Please see our article on logging into cPanel here.



Step 2 - Click on Backup





Step 3 - Click on Download  a Full Account Backup.




Step 4 - Choose backup destination and click generate backup.

  • The backup destination is where you cPmove file will be saved on generated




Step 5 - Wait for cPmove file to complete.



  • Once completed you will be able to download the file by clicking on it in your file manager.
