This article provides you with steps to migrate your website from one cPanel to another.




Step 1- Login to cPanel

  • Please see our article on logging into cPanel here.



Step 2 - Click on File Manager under your Files section.



Step 3 - Compress your website folder.



Step 3 - Download the compressed file to your computer by clicking on it in your File Manager.


 

Restoring  the backup to your new cPanel.




Step 1  - Complete steps 1 & 2 as above.



Step 2  - Upload and extract the backup previously downloaded.



That's it ! Your website is now live on your new cPanel.
