This article provides you with steps to get you SSL certificate and Private key when migrating your domain from one server to another.



Step 1- Login to cPanel

  • Please see our article on logging into cPanel here.



Step 2- Click on SSL /TLS.




Step 3 - Click on Certificates(CRT).



Step 4 - Select active certificate.

  • Next to the active certificate you wan to migrate click Edit.



Step 5 - Copy the Certificate code



Step 6 - Go back to cPanel and select Private Keys (KEY)




Step 7 - Select edit on the private key for your SSL Certificate

  • The latest private key will be at the bottom of the list



Step 8 - Copy the KEY code
