This guide will take you through the steps of converting your addon domains to a standalone cPanel account. Please note that this option is only available for Business VPS customers. 

 

Step 1- Login to WHM

  • Please see article on how to login to WHM here.


Step 2 - Click on Convert Addon Domain to Account



Step 3 - Click Convert next to the relevant Domain




Step 4 - Add details for the new account to be created.

  • Set and Account username 
  • Contact Email address
  • Set package for the account



  • Manually select the available options for the conversion to a standalone account.
  • Any data not selected will not be included in the new standalone account e.g below no email accounts or MySQL databases will be added to the new account.
  • Click Start conversion at the bottom of the page.



Step 5 - Depending on the size of the domain's data the conversion can take up to 10mins



  • Once completed notification will be displayed.


 

That’s it! You’ve successfully converted an addon domain to a standalone account.
