Step 1: Access the 1-grid website.

 

 

Step 2: Click on the Web Hosting option and then select “WordPress Hosting” from the drop-down list.

 

 

Step 3: Click on the blueWordPress Plans button.

 

 

 

Step 4: Find the WordPress Hosting Plan that best suits your website needs and goals.

 

 

Step 5: Click on the blueGet Started” button under the plan that works for you.

 

 

Step 6: On the next screen, it should automatically select “Register a new domain”.

 

* Additional steps required for:

  • Transfer your domain from another registrar
  • I will use my existing domain and update my nameservers

 

Step 7: Type in your desired domain name in the box (next to “www.”), then select the drop-down to choose your desired domain extension, such as .co.za, .online, etc. 

 

*Free Domain Registration applies to the following extensions only: .co.za, .online, .shop, .store

 

Step 8: Click on the blueCHECK” button so that the system can run a check to see if your requested domain name is available. *If it is not available, you will need to repeat Step 7.

 

*A “green” banner indicates that your domain is available

 

*A “red” banner indicates that your domain is not available

 

Step 9: Click on the green ”CONTINUE” button to proceed to “CONFIGURE PRODUCT”.

Step 10: Review your chosen “package”, and your “Order Summary”, then click the green “CONTINUE” button. *It is important to note that the amount will reflect a “pro-rata” amount, depending on the time of the month that you purchase your package

 

 

Step 11: Next, you will have the option to “CONFIGURE DOMAIN” where you should see that the “Domain Essentials” product will automatically be added to your cart. Then, click on the green “CONTINUE” button to proceed to “REVIEW ORDER”.

 

 

Step 12: Be sure to review the details of your order, such as your “Product/Options” and the relevant “Price/Cycle”; as well as your “Order Summary”. *If you have a Promo Code, you can insert this in the “Apply Promo Code” box before checking out. 

Once you have confirmed the details of your order, click on the green “CHECKOUT” button to proceed to make your payment. 

 

 

Step 13: Next, enter your personal details and billing information to complete your checkout, be sure to tick the “I have read and agree to the Terms of Service” box then click on the green “COMPLETE ORDER” button. 

 

  • Personal Information: Your name, surname, email address, and contact number
  • Billing Address
  • Domain Registrant Information: You may specify alternative registered contact details for the domain registration(s) in your order when placing an order on behalf of another person or entity. If you do not require this, you can skip this section.
  • Payment Method: Select which payment method you would like to use to make payment for your order. *Your order form is provided in a secure environment and to help protect against fraud your current IP address.

 

 

Step 14: Follow the prompts for your specific payment method selected that come up on the proceeding screen, enter any OTP (One-Time-Pin), if required, and then please allow some time for the payment confirmation to appear. Once payment is confirmed, you will be notified via the screen online; as well as, via email. 

 

Step 15: Check your email inbox to confirm that you have receive the *following, from “1-grid” *and Payfast (if paying via Credit/Debit Card:
