This article provides you with steps to upload files via FTP



This article assumes that you have already created an FTP account on your Control Panel. If you have not please follow the articles below on how to create an FTP account on your relevant Control Panel.


Create FTP account in cPanel

Step 1 - Open FileZilla client

 



Step 2 - Click on Site Manager



Step 3 - Add FTP account details and click Connect

  • Depending on the hosting account you are connecting to the settings may differ.
  • In the example below we are connecting to the Windows Plesk environment which uses SFTP.
  • cPanel and WSP uses Plain FTP for the connection protocol.
